About The Position

Telnyx is seeking a senior, hands-on product marketing leader to shape its global product story, distribution, launches and commercial results. The role may be titled Director or VP depending on the experience and scope of the person hired. The leader will connect Telnyx’s technical infrastructure with customer problems, clear reasons to choose the platform, and practical ways for customers to try it. The role works across Product, Engineering, Developer Relations, Sales and Marketing. It owns positioning, segmentation and competitive differentiation across AI inference, Voice AI, agent and edge infrastructure, communications, networking and wireless. It also drives usable samples, reference architectures, integrations, templates and demos; directs technical-buyer acquisition; equips enterprise sellers and solutions teams; and partners early with Product and Engineering on launches. Success is measured primarily by qualified pipeline, conversion and opportunity acceleration—not by marketing activity alone. The leader will build an AI-native product marketing team that uses AI tools, coding assistants, agents and automation thoughtfully to accelerate research and go-to-market work. The opportunity offers access to senior leadership and the ability to build a product marketing function measured by its contribution to growth.

Requirements

  • Experience leading product marketing for a complex B2B technical platform; relevant domains may include AI infrastructure, developer tools, APIs, cloud, networking or communications.
  • Technical fluency sufficient to understand architecture, work with APIs or SDKs, assess latency or cost claims, and communicate comfortably with engineers.
  • Ability to distinguish a working, credible demo from a pitch-only demonstration.
  • Understanding of modern technical acquisition and credibility directing AEO, SEO, paid programs and developer-focused content.
  • Ability to connect channel metrics to funnel economics and qualified pipeline.
  • Effective practical use of AI tools and agents, including experimenting with and building workflows to work faster.
  • Understanding of AI-tool limitations and how to evaluate AI-generated outputs.
  • Exceptional writing ability, strong enterprise sales instincts and skill in turning complex product advantages into clear reasons to buy.
  • Ability to be strategic while remaining directly involved in the work.
  • Ability to build or lead strong teams, prioritize across competing launches and products, and work directly with product leaders and technical builders.
  • A track record of generating commercial impact.
  • Telecom experience is not required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in AI infrastructure, developer tools, APIs, cloud, networking or communications is desirable, though no specific domain is required.

  • Shape product discovery and acquisition through product pages, developer content, SEO, answer engine optimization (AEO), technical communities and paid acquisition.
  • Direct acquisition programs with an understanding of search and answer-engine visibility, technical site structure, intent, targeting, conversion paths, attribution and economics.
  • Equip enterprise sellers, FDEs and solutions teams with pitches, discovery frameworks, architecture diagrams, competitive proof, demos and ROI narratives.
  • Translate platform capabilities into buying reasons for developers, technical executives and enterprise decision-makers.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering early to select launch audiences, packaging and strategy; measure activation, qualified demand, field utilization and downstream pipeline.
  • Build an operating cadence that keeps pace with a rapidly changing product roadmap.
  • Use AI research tools, coding assistants, agents and automation in everyday work to accelerate research, analysis, messaging tests, content, demos and go-to-market execution; lead the team to do the same.
