About The Position

mpathic is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to own positioning, messaging, and go-to-market enablement for its AI safety software and expert-led services. The role defines how mpathic is differentiated for frontier AI labs, large enterprises building and deploying AI, and Life Sciences organizations, and equips Sales and Customer Success with the playbooks, training, and materials needed to communicate customer value and win business. The position includes traditional sales enablement and is distinct from content marketing, communications, and PR, which are led by a peer. The Director provides messaging foundations and launch inputs, while that peer owns content production, publishing, and media. The role also coordinates launches, gathers customer and field insights, contributes to pricing and packaging decisions, and brings feedback to Product and leadership. The position is remote in the US and full-time. The successful candidate will initially learn the platform, services, customers, and sales motion; audit existing messaging and enablement; align with the content, communications, and PR peer; and deliver core messaging and a prioritized enablement roadmap. Over the first year, they will establish consistent messaging, a repeatable enablement program, competitive and win/loss insights, and internal readiness for product and service launches.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience in product marketing, sales enablement, or related go-to-market roles at a B2B software, AI/ML, or hybrid software-and-services company, including leadership experience.
  • Experience building positioning and messaging for technical, complex products sold to enterprise buyers.
  • Experience owning a sales enablement function or program and demonstrating how its impact was measured.
  • Ability to translate technical, scientific, or clinical concepts into clear value for different audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate across Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Marketing while respecting clear ownership boundaries with peers.
  • Comfort with ambiguity in an early-stage, remote-first environment and willingness to work both strategically and hands-on.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in AI safety, AI/ML infrastructure, healthcare, or life sciences, or enthusiasm for developing expertise in these areas.
  • Familiarity with evaluation, red teaming, or benchmarking concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Define positioning, value propositions, and messaging frameworks for the mpathic platform and expert-led services across frontier AI labs, large enterprises building and deploying AI, and Life Sciences organizations.
  • Develop buyer personas, ideal customer profiles, and use cases with Sales and Customer Success.
  • Maintain competitive and market intelligence, including seller battlecards.
  • Translate behavioral science, evaluation, and AI safety concepts into clear, credible language for technical, clinical, and executive buyers.
  • Build and maintain the sales playbook, including discovery guides, qualification frameworks, objection handling, pitch and demo narratives, pricing and packaging guidance, and sales-facing one-pagers and decks.
  • Design and run seller onboarding and ongoing training, including product and market updates.
  • Own the enablement calendar, content repository, and tools, and keep sales materials current and accessible.
  • Measure enablement impact through adoption, sales-cycle feedback, win rates, and seller confidence, and adjust the program accordingly.
  • Plan and coordinate go-to-market launches for products, features, benchmarks, and services, including internal readiness for Sales and Customer Success.
  • Run win/loss analysis and customer and prospect research, and translate findings into messaging, enablement, and product feedback.
  • Contribute to pricing, packaging, and segmentation decisions with Sales, Product, and Finance.
  • Work with Sales leadership, Product, Clinical Solutions, and Customer Success to keep messaging grounded in the product and customer experience.
  • Bring feedback from sellers and customers to Product and leadership.
  • Learn the platform, services, customers, and sales motion; interview sellers, customers, and leaders to audit existing messaging, collateral, and enablement; align planning boundaries with the Content Marketing, Communications, and PR peer; and deliver initial core messaging and an enablement roadmap.
  • Roll out a messaging framework used consistently by Sales, Customer Success, and leadership; run repeatable onboarding and ongoing training; equip sellers with competitive battlecards and win/loss insights; and prepare teams internally for product and service launches before public release.
