About The Position

ProcessUnity is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to define product positioning and messaging, partner with Product Management on go-to-market strategies, and build a robust sales enablement program. This role involves creating sales tools, conducting market analysis, supporting analyst relations, and developing thought leadership content. The ideal candidate will leverage AI tools to enhance efficiency and scalability, and will have the opportunity to grow the product marketing function by hiring and mentoring team members as the business expands. This is a hands-on role with the potential to lead a team.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of product marketing experience in B2B software, with a track record of successful product launches.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to make complex technical concepts clear and compelling.
  • Proven ability to build sales enablement programs that sellers actually use.
  • Strong market and competitive research skills, with a data-driven approach to positioning decisions.
  • Hands-on fluency with generative AI tools (such as Claude, ChatGPT or Copilot) and a track record of using them to work faster without sacrificing quality.
  • Ability to thrive as a hands-on individual contributor while building toward leading a team.
  • Strong presentation skills and the confidence to represent ProcessUnity with customers and at industry events.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce.com and marketing automation platforms such as Marketo.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and industry events.

Responsibilities

  • Define product positioning and messaging across the portfolio and for specific buyer personas (CISOs, TPRM program leaders, GRC and compliance executives, procurement).
  • Partner with Product Management to plan and execute go-to-market launches for new products, features, and AI capabilities.
  • Build a sales enablement program with knowledge, talk tracks, and tools for sellers and business development representatives.
  • Create and maintain sales tools, including pitch decks, battlecards, solution briefs, datasheets, and demo narratives.
  • Conduct ongoing market, customer, and competitive analysis, and translate insights into product and marketing strategy recommendations.
  • Support analyst relations by preparing briefings, inquiries, and submissions for firms like Gartner and Forrester.
  • Develop thought leadership content (whitepapers, guides, blogs, webinars) in partnership with Demand Generation.
  • Work with Customer Marketing to capture customer proof points, case studies, and voice-of-customer insights.
  • Represent ProcessUnity at industry events, webinars, and customer meetings.
  • Utilize AI tools for research, content creation, and enablement, and build AI-assisted workflows for a lean team.
  • Grow the product marketing function by hiring and mentoring team members as the business scales.
