About The Position

Soko Glam is hiring a Director of Marketing to lead the company’s marketing strategy and team. This is a hands-on leadership role at a small, founder-led Brooklyn company that helped introduce Korean beauty to U.S. consumers. The Director will shape the marketing plan and calendar, lead the campaign marketing lead, and own growth-driving channels including email and SMS, retention, creators, and paid media. The role is measured on business results, with a performance bonus tied to Soko Glam’s DTC profit. The Director will develop customer journeys that encourage repeat purchases, grow a sales-driving creator community, set paid media priorities and budgets across Meta, Google, and TikTok, and acquire new customers profitably. They will report on performance and investment opportunities weekly; hire and manage specialists in influencer relations, paid media, and design; and partner with the founders, merchandising team, and brands on launches and campaigns. The role is based in the New York City area and requires working from the Brooklyn office four days per week. In the first 90 days, success means meaningfully increasing email and SMS revenue compared with both the prior 90 days and the same period last year, growing the number of creators actively sharing and selling Soko Glam, and establishing a prioritized annual growth plan with channel targets. Compensation includes a base salary of $150,000–$165,000 and an uncapped annual performance bonus tied to DTC profit. A full benefits package is offered, with details provided during interviews.
