About The Position

The Director of Marketing Operations & Growth Systems leads the operating engine of Microsoft Advertising Marketing: the people, processes, platforms, and data that turn marketing investment into pipeline and revenue. The role owns marketing operations, growth systems, and transformation, serving Brand, Events, Customer & Partner, and Growth Marketing within the MSA Marketing Strategy, Growth & Operations team. It partners closely with Marketing Science, Sales, Finance, Product, and Engineering, and manages a team of marketing operations and marketing technology managers. The leader defines the marketing operating model and planning rhythm; owns the marketing technology stack, data, automation, and end-to-end lead lifecycle; and modernizes marketing through AI and automation where they improve speed, quality, or results. The position is accountable for how marketing work gets done and how it converts into business growth, including privacy-first data practices, change adoption, executive visibility, and cross-functional program delivery.
