About the position
The Director of Business Development & Partnerships- Medicare Advantage at Hello Heart is responsible for leading national business development and sales activities with targeted National Payers in the Medicare Advantage space. This role involves developing and executing strategic approaches for new business development, working closely with the Hello Heart Health Plan Business Development team. The ideal candidate should have experience in Business Development or Management Consulting in the Health Plan Medicare space and possess strong relationship-building skills. They will work cross-functionally with internal teams to drive success in prospecting, pitching, contracting, and managing strategic partnerships with Health Plans.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Business Development leader for the company
- Become a deep subject matter expert in all aspects related to Hello Heart and how we can work with targeted national payers
- Lead prospecting, pitching, contracting for strategic partnerships in the Health Plan Medicare space
- Manage and develop the Health Plan pipeline with accountability for strategic partnership targets
- Negotiate and manage execution of channel partnership agreements with Health Plans
- Identify and execute on partnership opportunities
Requirements
- Business Development or Management Consulting experience in the Health Plan Medicare space
- Expertise in building deep relationships with large, complex partners
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with internal customer success, business development, and sales teams
- Deep subject matter expertise in all aspects related to Hello Heart and working with targeted national payers
- Experience in lead prospecting, pitching, and contracting for strategic partnerships in the Health Plan Medicare space
- Ability to manage and develop the Health Plan pipeline with accountability for strategic partnership targets
- Negotiation and management skills for executing channel partnership agreements with Health Plans
- Ability to identify and execute on partnership opportunities
