About The Position

United Education Institute is seeking a Director of Admissions to lead the Admissions Team at its Houston campus. The role is responsible for staffing, training, and managing a compliant team that facilitates the selection and enrollment of qualified student applicants. The Director ensures the admissions process complies with applicable laws, regulations, accreditor standards, and institutional policies, and manages admissions performance and department budgeting.

Requirements

At least 2–3 years of sales and/or customer service experience.
An additional 2 years of experience as an Associate Director of Admissions or Director of Admissions.
Thorough understanding of the education admissions process.
Ability to motivate, build, and successfully manage a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including problem-solving and conflict resolution.

Responsibilities

Comply with applicable federal and state laws and regulations, accreditor standards, and institutional policies and procedures related to student enrollment.
Recruit, train, and develop admissions professionals.
Manage lead distribution to the Admissions Team.
Monitor the team’s daily and weekly activities to ensure admissions objectives are met.
Conduct second interviews of prospective student enrollees.
Motivate the Admissions Team to achieve admissions objectives while maintaining high ethical and compliance standards.
Manage compliance throughout the student enrollment process, including inquiries, phone screens, and interviews.
Prepare and manage the department budget.
