About The Position

Under the supervision of the Administrator, the Director of Admissions is accountable for facility census through admissions and readmissions, helps market the facility, and ensures people seeking admission information receive prompt, accurate, and appropriate information. The Director oversees Admissions assistants in carrying out their duties. The role coordinates admissions, supports census goals, and helps ensure each admission is organized and welcoming. Some local travel may be required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least three years of relevant experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and sales skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time-management skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
Ability to function well in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Able to sit for prolonged periods and work at a computer.
Able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.

Responsibilities

Work closely with the OAC to coordinate admissions into the center.
Schedule admissions promptly and appropriately, and notify required team members of expected admissions and individual needs.
Coordinate the admission process to ensure room readiness, positive first impressions, and necessary equipment availability.
Greet new admissions, welcome them, and answer their questions.
Answer phones promptly and respond to inquiries.
Conduct tours.
Coordinate timely completion of admission contracts.
Help maintain a census-focused culture within the center.
Work to maintain and exceed census goals.
Supervise Admissions Assistants as necessary.
