About The Position

A growing skilled nursing facility in the Wells and Adams County, Indiana area is seeking an experienced Director of Marketing and Admissions to lead census development, referral relationships, and community outreach. The role oversees marketing, referral management, and admissions coordination, working with hospitals, physicians, case managers, and community partners to maintain a pipeline of qualified admissions and provide an exceptional experience for residents and families. Requirements

Previous experience in healthcare marketing, admissions, or census development; skilled nursing facility or post-acute experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care processes.
Proven ability to build relationships and drive referral growth.
Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated, able to work independently, and able to meet goals.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute strategic marketing plans to increase census and maintain target occupancy.
Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, physicians, and community organizations.
Manage the admissions process, including inquiries, tours, assessments, and admission coordination.
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective residents and families.
Collaborate with clinical and leadership teams to support appropriate admissions and smooth transitions.
Track referral sources, admissions data, and conversion metrics to drive performance improvements.
Represent the facility at networking events, community functions, and professional organizations.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies related to admissions and marketing.
