About The Position

The Direct Support Supervisor is a mission-driven role supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The position facilitates implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs), supervises a team of Caregivers, and handles administrative duties such as hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight. Duties are divided among direct support, professional or program activities, and supervision. Direct support includes helping individuals with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning, medication administration, and personal care. The supervisor also facilitates community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation to work and other activities. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 1 p.m. to 10 p.m., plus on-call. The role is located in Fort Worth, Texas, and pays $10.00 per hour, with opportunities for approved overtime.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of related work experience.
Must be 18 years or older.
Current driver's license with one year of driving history without restrictions.
Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
Other licensure or certification where required by regulatory authority.
Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with team members and those served.
Strong organizational abilities to ensure staffing and schedules are maintained.
