About The Position

The Direct Support Supervisor facilitates implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and performs administrative duties such as staff hiring, training, scheduling, and oversight. The role supervises a team of Caregivers supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities while also providing direct support and participating in professional or program activities. Direct support includes helping individuals with daily activities such as meal preparation and planning, medication administration, and personal care. The supervisor also supports community involvement by accompanying individuals on outings or providing transportation to work and other activities. The position is based in Corinth/Denton, Texas, and is listed as full-time with a split shift Monday through Friday, 6 a.m.–9 a.m. and 2 p.m.–10 p.m., plus on-call duties.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of related work experience.
Must be 18 years or older.
Current driver's license, car registration, and auto insurance.
Current driver's license with one year of driving history without restrictions.
Other licensure or certification where required by regulatory authority.
Excellent communication skills and ability to establish rapport with team members and individuals served.
Strong organizational abilities to maintain staffing and schedules.
