About The Position
RISE is seeking Direct Support Professionals passionate about working with individuals with disabilities. The role involves supporting people with daily living activities, hygiene, meal preparation, mobility, and behavioral support. Positions may be in residential homes, day programs, or in the community or a person's own home. This posting is for a part-time graveyard sleep shift role in Price, Utah.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have verbal and written communication skills adequate for the specific job.
- Obtain approved annual background clearance through the Office of Licensing.
- Have reliable transportation to the work site and, if applicable, for transporting people.
- Have access to a telephone.
- Meet minimum training requirements and complete renewals as assigned.
- If driving an approved RISE vehicle, be at least 21 years old; maintain a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. If using a personal vehicle to transport people, maintain current auto insurance meeting RISE policy requirements.
- Specific language abilities other than English may be required.
Responsibilities
- Assist people with daily living activities, including hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility.
- Provide behavioral supports.
- Support people in residential homes, day programs, the community, or their own homes.
