About The Position

RISE is seeking Direct Support Professionals passionate about working with individuals with disabilities. The role involves supporting people with daily living activities, including hygiene, meal preparation, mobility, and behavioral supports. Positions are available across a variety of settings and capacities, including residential homes, day programs, community-based support, and support in an individual's own home.

Requirements

Have verbal and written communication skills adequate to the specific job.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Obtain approved background clearance through the Office of Licensing annually.
Have reliable transportation to the work site and for transporting people, if applicable.
Have access to a telephone.
Meet minimum training requirements and complete renewals as assigned.
Be at least 21 years old if required to drive an approved RISE vehicle.
If using a personal vehicle to transport people, maintain a valid driver's license, an acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance meeting RISE policy requirements.
