About The Position

Marrakech is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide person-centered support and advocacy for individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in a residential group home setting. The role helps individuals live safe and fulfilling lives while fostering trusting relationships that encourage independence and personal choice. Support is provided with dignity, respect, and meaningful connection at the center. The work may include assisting with daily living skills, personal care, meals, and routines; supporting medical needs and appointments; following individualized support and behavior plans; encouraging community involvement and social engagement; and collaborating with a supportive team. Overnight staff complete routine safety checks. Paid training is provided, and employees may obtain DDS Medication Certification after hire. The listed pay is $19.28 per hour, with an additional $0.50 per hour for employees with DDS Medication Certification. Full-time and part-time opportunities are available.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Valid Connecticut driver’s license.
Ability to obtain DDS Medication Certification, CPR, and First Aid.
Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities
