About The Position

Northeast Family Services is seeking experienced Direct Support Professionals to work directly with children, teens, and young adults ages 3–21 who have developmental, social, and emotional needs in their homes and communities. Immediate openings are available in the Home-Based Therapeutic Services (HBTS), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and Personal Assistance Services and Supports (PASS) programs. These are part-time positions of 6–20 hours, including after-school, evening, and weekend hours. Compensation is $16.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on program, education, and experience. A stay-on/sign-on bonus of up to $500 is available after 120 days.

Requirements

Be at least 19 years old for HBTS and ABA programs, or 18 years old for PASS.
Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Be able to pass DCYF, BCI, and driving record clearances.
Have valid car insurance and vehicle registration.
Have one year of supervised experience working with children, an Associate’s Degree in Human Services or a related field, or demonstrated competency to work with children with special health care needs as evidenced by the provider-agency’s skills validation.
Be able to read, write, and speak English.
Be authorized to work in the U.S.; the employer is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa.
Have access to secured high-speed internet.

Nice To Haves

Experience is preferred, though the employer is willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

Collect daily data.
