Your Role as a DSP: As a Direct Support Professional, you will provide personalized care and support for members of all ages with developmental disabilities: Deliver compassionate support aligned with each member's Individual Support Plan. Foster a safe, nurturing environment that promotes personal growth, dignity, and independence. Assist with daily living activities, personal care, meal support, and goal management. Implement teaching strategies to help members build daily living skills and engage in community activities. Collaborate effectively with families, guardians, and healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- A passion for supporting individuals with special needs, backed by patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Active Level 1 Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Current CPR & First Aid certifications.
- Article 9 training certification.
Nice To Haves
- Willing to obtain Article 9 training certification upon hire.
