About The Position

The Mary T. Family of Companies is hiring Direct Support Professionals in the Millersville, Maryland area. DSPs support individuals with disabilities in a residential group home setting. The position offers paid training and does not require prior experience. Schedules are available for full-time and part-time work, including evenings, overnights, and weekends. Thirty or more hours per week is considered full-time and eligible for the applicable benefits.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
High school diploma or GED.
Valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle record check.
Willingness to work hard and desire to help others.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with personal care, including bathing, toileting, grooming, and hygiene.
Provide transportation and support for community outings and activities.
Administer medications.
Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties.
Prepare meals.
