About The Position

Chimes is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges in living with dignity, independence, and confidence. The role provides hands-on assistance with daily living, follows individualized care plans, and contributes to a safe, respectful, and supportive environment. Some DSP roles require travel and supporting individuals between residential and day programs.

The schedule is Sunday, Thursday, and Friday, 8 AM to 8 PM. The stated pay is $18 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 or more pounds.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Meet one of the following driving-record requirements: at least three years of unsuspended driving history with no more than three points, or at least two years of unsuspended driving history with a clean driving record.

• Experience in disability services is preferred but not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care, including dressing, toileting, hygiene, feeding, bathing, and other daily living skills.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications in accordance with policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• For some roles, travel and provide support from residential to day programs.
