About The Position

Chimes is a mission-driven nonprofit seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges. The role helps people live with dignity, independence, and confidence in a supportive, team-focused environment. The listed schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and pay is $18 per hour.

The DSP provides hands-on support with daily living and personal care, follows individualized care plans, documents progress, administers medications according to policy, and maintains a safe, clean, supportive environment. The position also uses approved behavior support techniques and encourages community engagement. Some DSP roles require travel and support between residential and day programs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds or more.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Meet one of the following driving-record requirements: at least 3 years of unsuspended driving history with no more than 3 points, or at least 2 years of unsuspended driving history with a clean driving record.

• Experience in disability services is preferred but not required; training is provided.

Responsibilities
