About The Position

Chimes is hiring a Direct Support Professional to support individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges in living with dignity, independence, and confidence. The role provides hands-on assistance with daily living and personal care, follows individualized care plans, documents progress, administers medications according to policy, and helps maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment. DSPs use approved behavior support techniques and encourage community engagement. Some roles require travel and support between Residential and Day programs. The advertised schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and pay is $18 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 pounds or more.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
• Meet one of the driving record requirements: at least three years of unsuspended driving history with no more than three points, or at least two years of unsuspended driving history with a clean driving record.

• Experience in disability services is preferred but not required; training is provided.
