About The Position

Bancroft is hiring a Direct Support Professional for its Flicker Residential department in Voorhees, New Jersey. The role provides care and support to adults with autism and intellectual or developmental disabilities, helping them build daily-living skills and independence through personalized plans of care. The position also supports community-building through events and outings and involves communicating with residents, families, and guardians as part of a collaborative team.

This is a full-time, second-shift schedule: Sunday 10 a.m.–11 p.m., Monday and Tuesday 2 p.m.–11 p.m., and Wednesday 12 p.m.–3 p.m. The hourly rate is $19.06–$19.44. Weekend availability is required. Bancroft describes the work as meaningful and team-oriented, while noting that each day can vary and that caring for the people served can be physically, mentally, and emotionally challenging.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
• Have the ability and willingness to work weekends.
• Have a current driver's license in good standing.
• Have a strong desire to work with autistic and/or intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals.
