Direct Support Professional (DSP) - 2nd Shift Part Time
About The Position
Bancroft is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for its Adult Residential department in Haddon Heights, New Jersey. The role supports adults with autism and other intellectual or developmental disabilities, or people in need of neurological rehabilitation. Direct Support Professionals provide quality care in a positive and empathetic manner and encourage residents’ independence and skill development through personalized plans of care. The schedule is Thursday and Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. The hourly rate is $19.06–$19.44. The work can be physically, mentally, and emotionally challenging, and each hour of the day may be different.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
- Have the ability and willingness to work weekends.
- Have a current driver's license in good standing.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
