About The Position

Bancroft is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for its Adult Residential North program in Willingboro, New Jersey. The role supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism, by helping them build daily living skills, encouraging independence through personalized care plans, and creating opportunities to participate in community events and outings. The position works as part of a supportive, accountable team and includes communication with residents, families, and guardians. The scheduled hours are Friday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. The hourly rate is $19.06–$19.44. Bancroft describes the work as meaningful and offers opportunities for professional growth and career advancement. The work can vary from hour to hour and may be physically, mentally, and emotionally challenging.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
• Be willing and able to work weekends.
• Have a current driver's license in good standing.
• Have a strong desire to work with autistic and/or intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals.
• Provide quality care in a positive and empathetic manner.
