Direct Support Professional (DSP) -2nd Shift Part Time
About The Position
Bancroft is hiring a part-time Direct Support Professional for its Adult Residential North program in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The role empowers adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to develop daily living skills, build independence, and realize their best lives. Direct Support Professionals provide quality, empathetic care and work collaboratively with residents, families, guardians, and colleagues. The schedule is Thursday and Friday from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. The hourly rate is $19.06–$19.44. The work can be physically, mentally, and emotionally demanding, and each day may bring different situations. Weekend availability is required.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
- Have the ability and willingness to work weekends.
- Have a current driver's license in good standing.
- Have a strong desire to work with autistic individuals and/or people with intellectual or developmental disabilities.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
