Direct Support Professional (DSP) - 2nd Shift
About The Position
Bancroft is hiring a Direct Support Professional for its Flicker Residential department in Voorhees, New Jersey. The role provides quality, empathetic care to adults with autism and intellectual or developmental disabilities, helping them build everyday skills and independence through personalized care plans. The position is full-time and scheduled Sunday 10 a.m.–11 p.m., Monday and Tuesday 2 p.m.–11 p.m., and Wednesday 12 p.m.–3 p.m. The hourly rate is $19.06–$19.44. Direct Support Professionals work as part of a supportive, accountable team, communicate with residents and their families or guardians, and plan events and outings that foster community. The work can vary throughout the day and may be physically, mentally, and emotionally challenging. Weekend availability is required.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Work well in teams and be open to learning new skills.
- Ability and willingness to work weekends.
- Current driver's license in good standing.
- Strong desire to work with autistic and/or intellectually or developmentally disabled individuals.
Nice To Haves
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities.
