About The Position

Sevita is hiring a full-time Direct Support Caregiver for its Corinth/Denton, Texas site. The schedule is Saturday and Sunday, 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., at $9.00 per hour, with opportunities for approved overtime. Caregivers assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. The role focuses on helping participants grow, learn, live well, build meaningful relationships, and take part in community activities they enjoy. Caregivers also support developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid driver's license with at least one year of driving history without restrictions.
• Access to a registered vehicle and proof of insurance.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behavior.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.

Responsibilities
