About The Position

Sevita is hiring a full-time Direct Support Caregiver in Plano, Texas. The role supports people with developmental goals and helps them grow, learn, live well, and participate in their community. Caregivers build meaningful relationships with the people they serve and assist with personal hygiene, budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and favorite activities. The role may involve supporting individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs.

The schedule is a split shift, Monday through Friday, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Pay is $9.00 per hour, with opportunities for approved overtime. A current driver's license with one year of unrestricted driving history is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current valid driver's license and at least one year of driving history without restrictions.
• Access to a registered vehicle and proof of insurance.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible approach.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
