About The Position

As a Direct Support Caregiver at Sevita, you will help people grow, learn, and live well while building meaningful relationships with the individuals you serve. You will support participants in pursuing developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition, and help them participate in their community and enjoy activities they value. The role includes assisting with personal hygiene and supporting individuals who may have behavioral challenges and other complex needs. The posting lists two full-time evening schedule options: Wednesday 1 p.m.–9 p.m., Thursday and Friday, and every other weekend 3 p.m.–11 p.m.; or Monday and Tuesday 1 p.m.–9 p.m., Wednesday 10 a.m.–5 p.m., and every other weekend 9 a.m.–9 p.m. The wage is 21.46.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license.
• Access to a registered vehicle and proof of insurance.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behaviors.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
