About The Position

Sevita is hiring a Direct Support Caregiver to help people grow, learn, and live well. The role involves building meaningful relationships with the individuals served, supporting their participation in the community and favorite activities, and helping them work toward developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Caregivers also assist with personal hygiene and support people who may have behavioral challenges or other complex needs. The posting lists a wage of 18.35 and part-time schedule options for female caregivers: Monday and Tuesday, 3 p.m.–9 p.m., plus every other weekend, 1 p.m.–9 p.m.; or Wednesday and Thursday, 3 p.m.–9 p.m., Friday, 1 p.m.–9 p.m., plus every other weekend, 3 p.m.–11 p.m.

Requirements

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination is preferred.
• Communication, adaptability, multitasking, teamwork, and time-management skills.
• Patient, compassionate, reliable, and responsible behavior.
• Valid driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance.
