About The Position

The Direct Sales Representative sells insurance products to inbound callers by gathering customer information, generating quotes, and binding policies. The role may also involve outbound calls. Representatives provide exceptional customer service, build customer relationships, explain coverage and costs, and help customers select appropriate insurance options. They identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell other products and services while navigating multiple computer systems during customer interactions. This is a hybrid role based at the Dallas office. After initial training, employees work in the office three days per week and virtually two days per week. Training may require in-office attendance, with days determined by business needs. Employees within 50 miles of a Farmers corporate office are expected to follow the hybrid schedule. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, consisting of five 8-hour shifts. Candidates must be available for shifts during department operating hours, which may include evenings, Saturdays, and holidays; shifts are assigned based on business needs.
