About The Position

The Direct Sales Agent Specialist drives profitable growth by generating new business, cross-selling to existing customers, and building lasting customer relationships. The role focuses on understanding customer needs, providing tailored insurance solutions, and maintaining a strong book of business. The agent sells to local customers in person and over the phone, and supports growth through community involvement, relationship building, and outside marketing efforts.

Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience.
• P&C license preferred; otherwise, must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-selling, and customer retention.
• Build and maintain a consistent sales pipeline through local lead generation and referrals.
• Develop community relationships with dealerships, event organizers, local partners, and others to support business growth.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow up with leads to convert opportunities into sales.
• Partner with leadership on sales and local marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed about products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition.
• Deliver results in line with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations.
