About The Position
Regency at Augusta is hiring a PRN Direct Care Aide in Fishersville, Virginia. The role provides compassionate, dignified support to residents with activities of daily living and fosters positive connections with residents and their families. The aide participates in ongoing learning and follows rules and regulations concerning the confidentiality and privacy of resident information. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent.
- Completion of a 40-hour DCA or PCA training course approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and dignified care while guiding residents through activities of daily living.
- Connect with residents and family members compassionately to create a positive experience.
- Attend and participate in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning opportunities.
- Comply with rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
