About The Position
Westminster Communities of Bradenton is seeking a Dining Services Tech I to work at its Manor Neighborhood community. The role performs a variety of dining-service duties, including minor food assembly, tray assembly, food delivery and service, dishwashing, and cleaning as assigned by supervisors. The position supports residents through friendly, professional, timely table service and follows established serving standards and meal tickets. Additional duties include light cleaning and stocking, washing dishes, cutting desserts, preparing items for upcoming meal periods, and maintaining temperature and sanitation logs as assigned. New hires are subject to drug testing and criminal background screening.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is desirable.
- Three to six months of experience in a high-volume dining environment or residential clinical dining environment.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English and understand and follow written and oral directions.
- Ability to perform basic math skills.
- Basic knife-handling skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Full understanding of food-service methods in a high-volume, full-service dining environment.
- Florida Safe Staff certification is required, or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
Responsibilities
- Perform table service according to established serving standards and guidelines.
- Provide friendly, caring, professional, and timely table service.
- Serve residents’ meals according to meal tickets.
- Perform light cleaning and stocking duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Wash dishes, cut desserts, and prepare items for the next scheduled meal period or day.
- Maintain temperature and sanitation logs as assigned by the supervisor.
- Perform minor food assembly, tray assembly, food delivery, and other duties assigned by supervisors.
