About The Position

Touchmark on West Century is hiring a Dining Room Supervisor for its senior living resort community. Working closely with the Dining Services Director, the supervisor ensures that residents and guests have an exceptional dining experience that meets the Touchmark Gold Standard. The role includes hiring, leading, mentoring, training, and developing dining room staff in dining etiquette, meal handling, and customer service, as well as scheduling and administrative duties. The supervisor also supports dining department service and financial goals.

• Knowledge of, or ability to follow, state and federal regulations to meet requirements and protect residents' rights.
• Willingness to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events as needed, with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Create wait staff schedules.
• Recommend food product changes to enhance the dining experience and improve company profitability.
• Supervise closing of the dining room at the end of dinner.
• Help maintain appropriate payroll budgeting.
• Assist in managing kitchen and dining staff to achieve customer service and financial goals.
• Help create a positive work environment to maintain low staff turnover.
• Coordinate front- and back-of-house staff to support a seamless flow of service.
• Train and develop new wait staff.
• Coach and counsel employees so they can perform their job duties effectively.
• Support the needs of the dining department.
• Hire, lead, mentor, train, and develop dining room staff.
