Dining Services Operations Manager
About The Position
Metz Culinary Management is seeking a polished, professional, hands-on Operations Manager with a positive attitude and a passion for food and service. The role is based in a busy commercial kitchen and café operations setting and calls for front-of-house and back-of-house leadership experience, preferably in contract dining, such as hospital, school, college, senior living, or corporate dining accounts. The position offers potential for growth and provides tools and a platform to develop into a General Manager. The manager will contribute to the company’s culture by reinforcing its values and strategic focus with team members, helping create an environment that supports personal growth, enrichment, and career success. Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in contract dining.
- At least 3 years of management experience.
- Solid knowledge of kitchen and cafeteria operations.
- Solid knowledge of guest and client relations.
- Impeccable communication skills.
- Restaurant management knowledge.
- Knowledge of menu implementation.
- Catering experience.
- Front-of-house and back-of-house leadership experience is desired, preferably in a contract dining food service setting.
