About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Dining Room Manager to ensure the dining room is impeccable and the service residents receive is outstanding. This role involves greeting residents, fostering a welcoming environment, preparing for service, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. The ideal candidate will be at least eighteen years old, have previous hospitality team leadership experience, understand resident care requirements, possess a food server permit, communicate effectively in English, and have a positive, energetic attitude. The role requires physical activity including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds, as well as assisting residents with mobility and falls. Candidates must be criminally cleared and in good health, with a health screening required.

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
• Must have and maintain a food server permit as required by the county.
• Can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting people after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.
• Be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
• Health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
• Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.

• Ensuring the dining room looks and stays perfect.

• Being present in the dining room, mingling, and entertaining.
• Fostering an environment where residents can connect.
• Preparing tables for service, salads, and rolling silverware.
• Bussing tables and sweeping floors.
• Communicating with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
