About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Dining Room Manager to join our team at The Township Senior Living in Battlefield, Missouri. This full-time position is responsible for ensuring the dining room is immaculate and that residents receive impeccable service. The ideal candidate will be a welcoming host, a diligent preparer, a thorough cleaner, and observant of resident dining habits. This role requires a positive and energetic attitude, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and a genuine love for our residents.

Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Previous experience leading a hospitality team preferred.
• Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
• Must have and maintain a food server permit as required by the county.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting people after a fall.
• Must be criminally cleared.
• Must be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
• Health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
• Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the dining room looks and stays perfect.
• Providing impeccable service to residents.
• Greeting residents and making them feel welcome.
• Being present in the dining room, mingling, and entertaining.
• Fostering an environment where residents can connect.
• Preparing tables for service, salads, and rolling silverware.
• Bussing tables and sweeping floors.
• Communicating with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
