About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Dining Room Manager to ensure the dining room looks and stays perfect, and the service residents receive is impeccable. This role involves greeting residents, making them feel welcome, being present in the dining room, mingling, entertaining, and fostering an environment where residents can connect. The position also includes preparing tables for service, salads, and rolling silverware, as well as bussing tables and sweeping floors. The Dining Room Manager will also communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding residents' dietary habits, appetite changes, and absences from meals.

Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Knowledge of the requirements for providing care and supervision appropriate to the residents.
  • Must have and maintain a food server permit as required by the county.
  • Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
  • Positive and energetic attitude.
  • Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
  • Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting people after a fall.
  • Must be criminally cleared.
  • Must be in good health and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks.
  • Health screening performed by a physician not more than six (6) months prior to or seven (7) days following employment.
  • Must test free from pulmonary tuberculosis at time of health screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience leading a hospitality team preferred.
