About The Position

The Dining Room Attendant serves meals promptly while following procedures to maintain food temperatures and ensure customer satisfaction. The attendant uses the POS system accurately to take and serve orders, follows supervisors’ directions to support teamwork and smooth service, prepares the dining room and service stations before meal periods, and delivers items to residents as needed or requested. This is a part-time position of 20 hours per week, scheduled from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a weekend and holiday rotation. Pay is $19.00 per hour; the position may be eligible for a shift differential depending on the schedule. The role is at Asbury Methodist Village.

Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• No minimum education requirement.

Nice To Haves

• Previous employment experience is preferred.
• Prior food service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals promptly, following procedures to keep hot food hot and cold food cold and to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Accurately use the POS system when taking and serving orders so each customer receives the correct meal.
• Follow supervisors’ directions to support teamwork and smooth service delivery.
• Prepare the dining room and service stations before each meal period.
• Deliver items to residents as needed or requested.
