About The Position

The Dining Room Attendant serves guests in the restaurant dining room, working to provide an excellent experience that encourages them to return. The role includes setting up and maintaining the restaurant and assigned station, delivering food and beverages accurately and promptly, running food throughout the restaurant and bar, and completing assigned side work and other duties. The attendant must follow attendance, punctuality, uniform, bussing, and food-handling standards and maintain cleanliness and presentation.

Requirements

Must be able to work weekends.
Must have Food Handlers and TABC certifications.

Nice To Haves

Fine dining or steakhouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve dining room guests and help ensure they have the best possible experience.
Comply with attendance and punctuality standards.
Comply with uniform standards.
Properly set up the entire restaurant.
Understand and follow bussing standards.
Understand the menu.
Deliver food and beverages to tables accurately and in a timely manner.
Be friendly and helpful to guests, using surnames whenever possible.
Comply with food-handling standards.
Run food to all sections of the restaurant and bar.
Complete all assigned duties before checking out and clocking out.
Inspect and maintain the assigned restaurant station to ensure cleanliness and presentation.
Perform station setup, breakdown, and side work.
Perform other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.
