About The Position

The Dining/Bar Supervisor provides the first level of supervision of food, beverage, and meal services while also overseeing production. The position is with Morrison Healthcare at Grace Ridge Retirement Community in Morganton, North Carolina. This is a full-time role with a flexible schedule; days and hours may vary, and weekends and holidays are required. The pay range is $15.00 to $18.00 per hour. Previous food service experience in a healthcare setting and a valid ServSafe certification are required.

Responsibilities

Ensure high-quality, good-tasting, well-presented food and beverages are served within established time frames.
Review menus and other production needs to oversee and manage daily functions.
Monitor staff daily to ensure systems, protocols, and quality assurance tools are used correctly.
Visit guest service areas to assess satisfaction levels.
Communicate regularly with staff, formally and informally.
Enforce safety standards with employees.
Enforce sanitation standards daily and sign off on cleaning procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
