DINING/BAR SUPERVISOR (SEASONAL)
About The Position
The Dining/Bar Supervisor provides the first level of supervision of food, beverage, and meal services while overseeing production. This is a seasonal, on-call position at the Kellogg Global Hub in Evanston, Illinois. Days and hours may vary; further schedule details are provided during the interview. Previous dining experience is required. The pay range is $30.00 to $35.00 per hour. The supervisor ensures food and beverages are high quality, well presented, and served within established time frames. The role includes overseeing daily functions based on menus and production needs, monitoring staff and quality-assurance practices, assessing guest satisfaction, communicating with staff, and enforcing safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities
- Ensure high-quality, good-tasting, well-presented food and beverages are served within established time frames.
- Review menus and production needs to oversee and manage daily functions.
- Monitor staff to ensure systems, protocols, and quality-assurance tools are used correctly.
- Visit guest service areas to assess satisfaction levels.
- Communicate regularly with staff, both formally and informally.
- Enforce employee safety standards.
- Ensure sanitation standards are enforced daily and sign off on cleaning procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
