About The Position

Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by taking orders, delivering meals, cleaning and setting tables, maintaining clean supplies in the kitchen, and opening or closing the restaurant. The role requires courteous, helpful customer service and the ability to communicate with and respect the needs of senior citizens. The employee must be able to read and speak clearly and work with numbers as required. The work environment is usually moderately noisy. Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills and a courteous, helpful demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Take and write customer orders and serve food and beverages in a timely manner.
• Learn menu and specialty items, including ingredients and cooking methods, and note special dietary needs or requests.
• Monitor and clean tables during meal service, clear them, and prepare them for the next service.
• Assist the restaurant team as needed and check for other activities requiring assistance before leaving at the end of a shift.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and address issues in a timely manner.
• Keep the kitchen supplied with clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils; maintain kitchen cleanliness by taking out trash, cleaning floors, and returning items to their proper locations.
• Deliver meals to customers outside the building and prepare takeout orders in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
