About The Position

Responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by taking orders, delivering meals, cleaning and setting tables, maintaining clean kitchen supplies, and opening or closing the restaurant. The role serves customers in a timely and courteous manner, including customers located outside the building, and prepares takeout orders. The employee also supports the restaurant team and performs other assigned duties.

Requirements

Excellent customer service skills and a courteous, helpful demeanor.
Ability to communicate with and respect the needs of the senior citizen population.
Ability to read and speak clearly.
Ability to work with numbers as required.

Responsibilities

Take and write customer orders and serve food and beverages in a timely manner.
Learn the menu and specialty items, including ingredients and cooking methods, so they can be described to customers.
Note special dietary needs or requests.
Monitor and clean tables during meal service, clear them, and prepare them for the next service.
Assist the rest of the restaurant team as needed and check for other activities needing assistance before leaving at the end of each shift.
Ensure customer satisfaction and address issues in a timely manner.
Keep the kitchen supplied with clean dishes, pots, pans, and utensils.
Keep the kitchen clean during the shift, including taking out trash, cleaning floors, and returning dishes, cookware, and utensils to their proper locations.
Deliver meals to customers outside the building and prepare takeout orders in a timely manner.
Perform other duties as assigned.
