About The Position

Diesel Technicians work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean places and providing friendly service. They interact with customers and drivers, troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist with roadside services, and provide preventive maintenance. The role requires working a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed. Technicians must provide their own tools and toolbox and be able to obtain a Department of Transportation medical card, paid for by Love’s.

Requirements

• Ability to move and lift more than 75 pounds and work in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation medical card; Love’s pays for it.
• Must provide a personal set of tools and toolbox.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, air conditioning, and engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventive maintenance services.
• Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction while complying with company safety policies and procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
