Diesel Technician
About The Position
Diesel Technicians work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean places and providing friendly service. The role involves interacting with customers and drivers and helping make their travels better. Technicians troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, assist customers with roadside services, and provide preventative maintenance. The position requires working a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed, and obtaining a Department of Transportation medical card, which Love’s pays for. Requirements
- Ability to move and lift 75+ pounds while working in close quarters.
- Ability to work in various temperatures.
- Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation medical card; the company pays for it.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, air conditioning, or engine components.
- Assist customers with roadside services.
- Provide preventative maintenance services.
- Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction while complying with company safety policies and procedures.
