About The Position

Diesel Technicians work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining clean places and providing friendly service. They interact with customers and drivers from across the country, helping improve their travels and their day. The role includes troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues, providing preventative maintenance, assisting customers with roadside services, and prioritizing safety and customer satisfaction. The schedule rotates between day and night as needed. The position requires the ability to obtain a Department of Transportation medical card, paid for by Love’s.

Requirements

• Ability to move and lift more than 75 pounds while working in close quarters.
• Ability to work in various temperatures.
• Ability to obtain a Department of Transportation medical card; Love’s pays for it.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair light mechanical issues, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, air conditioning, or engine components.
• Assist customers with roadside services.
• Provide preventative maintenance services.
• Prioritize customer safety and satisfaction and comply with company safety policies and procedures.
• Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed.
