About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Dialysis Technician (PCT) Float to support patients with end-stage renal disease in outpatient dialysis clinics. The technician provides direct, hands-on care under RN supervision and helps patients through dialysis treatment. The position floats among clinics in the Mid Ohio region, including Galion Dialysis, Mid Ohio Dialysis in Ontario, Apple Valley Dialysis in Mount Vernon, Heart of Marion Dialysis in Marion, and Kenton Dialysis. Hours vary by clinic and may start as early as 4 a.m.

Requirements

• Accredited high school diploma, GED credential, or equivalent.
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
• Willing to float between local clinics if needed.
• Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Teamwork, adaptability, leadership, time management, ability to accept and give redirection, willingness to communicate, and critical-thinking skills.
• Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

• CNA, MA, or CHT certification.
• Phlebotomy certification.
• Healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
• Float between clinics in the Mid Ohio region as needed.
