About The Position

DaVita is hiring a Dialysis Technician (PCT) Float to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. Under RN supervision, the PCT provides direct, hands-on care to help patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment. The role floats among clinics in the Mid Ohio region: Galion Dialysis, Mid Ohio Dialysis in Ontario, Apple Valley Dialysis in Mount Vernon, Heart of Marion Dialysis in Marion, and Kenton Dialysis.

Hours vary depending on the assigned clinic and may start as early as 4 a.m. The position requires a flexible schedule and willingness to travel between local clinics. DaVita provides paid training, ongoing education, and career paths. Employment is contingent on successfully passing a drug screen and background check.

Requirements

• Accredited high school diploma, GED credential, or equivalent.
• Comfortable around blood, needles, and medical equipment.
• Physically able to work long shifts on your feet.
• Willing to float between local clinics as needed.
• Flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Works well on a team; adaptable and willing to travel or float within the region.
• Demonstrates leadership skills and time-management ability.
• Able to give and receive redirection, communicate openly, and think critically.
• Must successfully pass a drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

• CNA, MA, CHT, or phlebotomy certification.
• Healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis care.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatment.
• Set up and maintain dialysis equipment.
• Record vital signs and patient data.
• Educate patients on treatment and kidney health.
• Collaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team members.
