About The Position

U-Haul is seeking a Detail Specialist to clean and detail its truck and trailer fleet, helping keep equipment in top condition for customers. The position works in a detailing bay and production-line environment and offers on-the-job learning and opportunities to advance within the company. Team members can also participate in U-Haul’s Technician Training Program, which includes classes from Ford, GMC, and U-Haul. U-Haul provides tools and support for the work, and team members learn from experienced colleagues. The position is based at 6751 FM 78, San Antonio, Texas 78244. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must not require employer sponsorship.

Requirements

• Driver’s license.
• Ability to work as part of a team and individually.
• Regular attendance.
• Must be legally authorized to work without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Clean and buff trucks and trailers.
• Remove decals from damaged equipment leaving the fleet and prepare that equipment for sale.
• Use industry-standard safety equipment.
• Work in a production line.
• Provide assistance in additional areas as necessary, following the directives and guidance of a supervisor.
